RCMP

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) maintain the National Repository of Criminal Records and they do not accept your fingerprints directly.

CANADIAN ACCREDITED FINGERPRINT AGENCY

Your fingerprints must be submiited through a Canadian Accredited Fingerprint Agency (CAFA) which will, upon receiving your fingerprints taken in London, scan them and then send them to the RCMP. You will then receive your certificate directly by ordinary mail from the RCMP.

PROCEDURE

In order to submit you fingerprints for a Canadian Criminal Record Check from the UK you will:

• Have your prints rolled onto an RCMP C-216C or an FBI FD258 fingerprint form at Fingerprints Today
• Complete a Third-Party Consent Form which requires a print of your right thumb
• Produce one coloured copy of primary ID, and
• One secondary coloured copy piece of ID from the approved list mandated by the RCMP

Upon completion of the above then you should send your fingerprints by courier service to the CAFA.
